The John Muir Trail is a 211 mile stretch through some of the most picturesque wilderness in California-- from the Yosemite Valley down to Mount Whitney. The plan was for a 21 day hike to cover the trip but thanks to Wildfires we were kicked off the trail only 6 days in. Still, I got to encounter some of the spectacular wildlife you see below!
Pacific Fisher
Stellar's Jay
Common Raven
American Pika
Acorn Woodpecker
Douglass' Squirrel
Yellow-bellied Marmot
Garter Snake
Lodgepole Chipmunk
Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel
Mule Deer
